Turning the Tables
I've heard members of an audience say, "I didn't like that comedian. I thought he was rude." Or, "He was annoying. I hated him. He wasn't funny."
Does an audience ever think to themselves, "We sucked tonight. We didn't pay attention, and we were loud and interrupted the comedian with heckles. We had too much to drink and didn't respect the other people who were trying to enjoy the show."
I just wonder if audiences ever think that.
